India: Ladies celebrate together the achievements of the New Year. In 2009 the total number of ladies and female students instructed in Transcendental Meditation was about 33,300—50% of these were school students. About 900 ladies and girls learned the Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme and about 1,000 learned the First Advanced Technique of Transcendental Meditation.
